What Christmas means to me!

Christmas is not all about santa it's about Jesus's birthday too.  Jesus was born in a manger.

We celebrate Christmas by decorating a tree and opening presents in the morning.  One of our traditions is to buy one new tree decoration every year.  Another one of our traditions is to put a doll in a manger that I made.

My family celebrates Christmas with my Nana, my Oma and Opa, and my cousins.  We have presents, lots of party food and games.  On Boxing Day we go camping.

Vege Garden

My cat is standing in the middle of the plants I am going to plant in our new vege garden.

Here I am planting some seedlings in our garden.

Now the first seedlings are in the holes.  My sister is going to water them all.

My mum helped me plant these lettuces first.

I planted a cherry tomato plant on my own.

Here is a capsicum tree it has over 50 flowers on it, wich will grow into capsicum.

Altogether, we have planted spinach, tomatoes, lettuce, a capsicum tree, mint and some kale.

Baking biscuits and cooking dinner

First I made cookies for a snack.  Here is a picture of me rolling the cookies and putting them on the tray.

Now the cookies are on the trays, Mum's going to put them in the oven.

This is me helping Mum make the dinner while I'm waiting for the cookies to cook.  I peeled and chopped the onion and I'm making the mince smaller so it can cook properly.  If its one big thing it will be red in the middle.  If there are red parts in the mince it will make you sick.

Yummy!  The cookies taste nice.  We used coconut oil instead of butter because its more healthy but it doesn't taste any different.

Here is a picture of me with the cooked dinner.  I forgot to say that we cooked the pasta and broccoli and cauliflower in a pot of water at the same time as the mince then we mixed it all in together.  Everyone liked it.

Cooking is very fun!

Welcome to my blog

Hi I'm Gold girl.  Welcome to my blog!  I love kittens, because they are so fluffy and warm.  I cuddle one of my kittens every day.  I also love climbing trees and reading books.  I play netball on Thursdays and we have a practice on Tuesdays as well.  Come back and visit me on my blog.  I'll put some exciting things on soon that I've been doing.
